BUY & TRY THE VERY BEST BOATS IN THE UK!

See it for Real Productions in association with the Beale Park Boat & Outdoor Show.

June 2nd, 3rd & 4th 2017 (opening times: 10am-6pm, Friday & Saturday and 10am-5pm, Sunday).

Beale Park, Lower Basildon, Reading, Berkshire RG8 9NW

See it for Real Productions has been invited, once again, to manage next year’s Beale Park Boat & Outdoor Show, and beyond. They have a strong vision for the show’s development and for it to remain one of the brightest & best boat shows in the UK.

This is the only place to try & buy the very best boats made by the very best craftsmen up and down the country.

The team are revitalising the core boating theme with the Wooden Boatbuilders’ Trade Association. From here the show will gather shape and a renewed energy.

“The response from previous exhibitors and visitors has been overwhelming,” said a spokesperson from See it for Real Productions. “The passion and drive within this lively community has taken us by surprise – and this has allowed us to focus on the core values of the show and, importantly, to understand how to bring in new features that are very much aligned to what the show is about – trying & buying boats!”

At the show you can meet the very best wooden boatbuilders in the country; understand their craft and try out their boats. From there you will be able to enjoy the widest range of boats in the UK from steam and electric to fibre glass and sea boats, and everything else in between. If it travels on water ‘it’s in’, say the organisers.

This show is geared towards the boat enthusiast & boat buyers but the organisers also understand the importance of involving families, so the next generation can be inspired.

The family area will therefore integrate with the show’s core boat values and will be educational, fun and on message: here you can learn how to tie knots, make a sail, make a model boat and learn about navigation and maritime history.

“If just one child goes away energised to learn more about boats, to enjoy boats, then we have achieved our goal.”

The organisers have even gone so far as to insist that exhibitors and caterers integrate with the show in this way also – to the point where the coffee seller has been asked to create a special Maritime blend!

“We want every visitor to the show to be reminded of just one thing: the joy of boats, of messing about in boats. We have a few other surprises up our sleeves this year, so you will need to pay a visit to find out – see you there for some boat action in June at Beale Park!”

In the immortal words of Kenneth Grahame, author of Wind in the Willows:

“Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing – absolutely nothing – half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.”

“Simply messing…about in boats – or with boats… In or out of ’em it doesn’t matter. Nothing seems to matter, that’s the charm of it. Whether you get away, or whether you don’t; whether you arrive at your destination or whether you reach somewhere else, or whether you never get anywhere at all, you’re always busy, and you never do anything in particular; and when you’ve done it there’s always something else to do, and you can do it if you like, but you’d much better not.”
